The gap did not fill though, just being pedantic. I am not sure if the fact that it tried to fill but didn't is a good sign. Gap filll doesn't make sense to me but I see it repeated quite a number of times so I follow that consensus, maybe it has a life of its own with traders playing this setup constantly.
Could you explain more on your header of the breakout? Were you referring to the triangle breakout?
There is a confluence of the 38 & 61 % Fibs from different swing points around the $1.00 mark.
