That information is quite outdated now and I don't think anyone anticipated the growth lithium has had in the last 6 - 9 months and seems to be continually enjoying. The Tesla gigafactory was originally scheduled for completion in 2020 but it will be completed in 2017 which is saying something. There are also several other companies building similar factories at the moment as well. Lithium and associated raw materials are definitely big ticket for the future because they facilitate such a game change / paradigm shift if you prefer for all of society.
Possibilities are huge, think about vehicles, no need for conventional internal combustion engines or transmissions....just an electric motor on each hub and storage for batteries; the rest will be about comfort and functionality. The whole automotive industry will eventually change and I'd expect the same level of changes throughout homes, businesses, industry, etc you name it.
