Heh, this is precisely why I lurk around as things get taken out of context easily or when it suits.

What I meant is I see Telstra as a potential disruptor - I.e. Want it to behave like what ALDI is to WOW. It may not look that way because it is the dominant telco here in Australia but what about disrupting other markets?

Telstra is equally investing billions of dollars to retain / gain market share. In fact I'm quite happy to see how competitive they are becoming in the mobile (and other services) space price-wise. They no longer charge a substantial premium to use their services comparing to the past. While the margin slim down I this front (don't forget they've also reaped the benefit from being the first mover in 4G etc), they are also creating and growing other steams of income.

Belief / vision is what drives the creation of new businesses or growth of existing businesses. I'm happy to say I believe the management team is heading down the right path - gotta wait for the proof right? I'm happy to wait for that too.
