I Use a Daily Chart over 1 year ... to Check the change in Sentiment over a few days or weeks...for a longer Hold after a New uptrend is established... to catch a bigger Move .
I use 5 and 15 minute intraday intervals for DT'ing.... (1 minute chart when looking to enter or exit) and for overnight holds I use this one here... 6 months/3 hours. I do check out 12 months or more when playing with bluechips to make sure I have all support and resistance in sight.

This chart also shows the volume by price indicator for the shown period!! I just threw the MACD in there to show others how good this and EMA's can be as a confirmation to place a trade.
