EnergyAustralia hikes power, gas tariffs
EnergyAustralia’s price increases mean that the country’s four biggest energy retailers – AGL, Origin Energy, EnergyAustralia and Snowy Hydro’s Red Energy – have all advised customers this week of steep increases in tariffs from mid-year.
From last year we know no one can hide by signing up to those challenger electricity retailers as most have either hit the wall or have told their customers to shop elsewhere and in turn have jacked up their pricing by 200%.
I would be keen to understand who you end up signing to just to see how far off AGL is off from competition (if at all)
