    Thanks Pitdozer. Very useful info. Yes, if it is steeply dipping and there is not good adhesion then that can be a big problem. A mine town in Canada was buried in a slide (1960s?), and they were warned, the rock dipped towards the town.

    Underground as you say should not be an issue.
