I worked here for a few years as an op. The walls are fragile, daily wall failures, and many wall slips. One of which was 8000 tonne which basically made mining out the final benches impossible.
as long as they can keep that away from the underground side of things it would be a very profitable investment.
from memory I did see a gross monthly profit of $7m after all the bills were paid. That was peak copper price at the time.
