I was thinking exactly that, by mid morning today.
ASX/ASIC cannot allow such a huge turnover, on two consecutive trading days, WITHOUT any announcement, go unchallenged. They would look silly if they did not challenge NOR on the reasons.
OK, they already look silly - but this time they might be phoning Paul O for some specific information.
i.e. how close are you to a deal? Do you have a leaking ship? If so, have you investigated where the leak is coming from? etc.etc.etc.
