I like your "outside the box" thinking and ,I am sure you will agree, that we are all just guessing at the moment - until we get some news from management. I enjoy the guessing (speculating?) game as it always leads to interesting discussions.
Sure, a higher SP would put BCI in a better bargaining position but I also think that ,at that level, the other company would quickly see the true value of BCI and would negotiate accordingly.
Looking forward to tomorrow's trading - if there is going to be news, Friday just after trading is a favourite time to put out an ann. Punters will know this and might buy in - just in case there is a big Monday opening (after the ann)
Once again, just me speculating......
