im only interest in physical platinum as wealth preservation, its currently about AUD$1550, but most dealers are selling at huge premiums to the spot price, bars are selling for $100 over spot and coins for about $150 over spot, i think if we get another 2008 style crash (platium in 2008 fell from about 2000 to 800) and pt falls to $1200 or below i think that will be a good time to buy some physcial bars/coins and hold them for 10-20yrs+, if riots in sth africa get worse and they start shutting mines, that will dwindle supply and prices will only go up, hopefully.
for now im hoping prices fall a few hundred $ more so i can buy some physcial.
