I believe you will find that there really isn't free lunch out there no matter what level of capital you got.

When someone short sell a stock to drive price down, another value minded fund would be happy to snap up the cheaper stock for the extra value. Similarly if someone wants to drive share price up, another value minded fund would be more than happy to sell to him. That's the basis and backbone of stock market. If you don't believe in the fairness in there then there is no reason to buy shares at all.

I am not saying the market is completely fair, but I believe it is generally fair.
