RS when it is constant low share trade and you see them selling cheaper than the offer and it happens for 2 cents worth of movement with the occasional small trade trying to hold the price up it shows.
If i could trade for "free" i would probably do the same to get the price down to what i want to buy it for. say its at 85 cents, if i could lose 500 shares to get the price down to 83.5cents and then spread buy a couple of hundred thousand shares(way more money than i got) than the 300 share loss would be well and truly worth it if you expect the SP to follow the market.
It looks like a strategy rather than short selling cause once it got there today there was a flurry of buying. Although it would be useful to short sell that way as well. just set your algo in its pattern and buy up big at the "bottom"
