I'm hearing around the traps that Tronox has pulled 100% of merchant rutile from the market for internal consumption (which may not be news to some). Iluka is running minimum stocks and well... who else produces rutile? Base.
am I right in believing BSE have tied up a lot of rutile volumes with customers already?
I'm not sure about pricing. 3Q or 2H 2018 might have some solid upside if they've left prices open for adjustment.
I would also expect some MDL investors to be cashing out and chasing min sands exposure through BSE.
