A rise in share price was better than I expected, whilst the announcement of the sale and the media release from Olam provide some details it looks to me more negative than positive, unless my thoughts that a takeover offer is forthcoming.
The unknown is still what is happening with the other 9.5k acres long term, whether Olam would be happy with SHV remaining manager of the almond orchards and the TIM shareholding in SHV (11% of shares on issue).
