Very pleasing to see some serious work set to commence
now that cash has been raised (with contingencies).
Looks like III have refined their 2007 Resistivity survey
over the Tara tin prospect. If you compare the 2007 Line 1
cross-section with the same in 2009 you can see a far sharper
resolution.
2007 Tara
I think they may have got the view direction (2009) back to
front (looks to be left to right SE NW slice not NW SE as labelled
in latest update).
Here's a screen dump to show what I mean. (I've also overlain the old
percussion drillholes T2 & T3, from 2007 report - n.b. positions approx. only
and I may be mistaken so beware - hard to see find print on illustrations in ann's).
Some very promising points stand out (all my opinion only, so again beware)
The high resolution re-processed data shows very good potential
for extensive (covered) channels holding alluvial tin.
This example section is by far not the most prospective in the area.
(e.g the plan view below shows extensive deeper channel potential).
plenty of this appears to be undrilled - this coming program to test?
Their appears to be (I stress, my opinion only) some evidence for
a 'raising' of base level of these older channels. By this I mean that
unlike common profiles of 'lowering' of base level by way of uplift, where
streams incise the bedrock leaving elevated channels higher up, It looks like
the opposite may have happened here.
The deepest channel on the section appears to be filled with clay and silt, which
to me indicates lower energy sedimentaion, consistent with a raising of base level.
This means that perched gravels may be younger than the deep
channels (instead of being older).
At any rate, neither the deepest channels nor many of the 'perched' gravels
have been tested effectively, but III have hit some very encouraging Tin
concentrations in their prior drilling (e.g. 1m@1% Tin hit - not at base of a channel).
This coming drill program will ferret out some really good results in my opinion.
This stuff may steal the limelight from Mt Carbine (temporarily at least).
Can be very profitable to mine high quality stream Tin (cassiterite).
Really very pleased with the improved attitude and enthusiasm from management.
Also now a very professional approach to keeping the market informed.
Very positive, congratulations III. A real breath of fresh air...
Here's to a great year ahead.
