I have just done a couple of hours researching the wave resources in the area near Sandpatch by watching the movie Breath.

The movie is set not far from there at Denmark. It shows some breath taking (npi) footage of the awesome power of the sea that South Western Australia is famous for.

I suspect some of the surfing shots show Sandpatch off in the distance.

Perhaps CCE could get permission to use some excerpts from the movie in promotions.

Seven or eight years ago my wife and I had a camper van tour that took in the coast from Albany to Perth. Huge swells could be seen at all of the spots we visited.

The next time I go there will be when the Albany Wave Energy Project is harvesting energy from those magnificent swells.
