Now that the AGW, no ACC, no what's the latest name ,oh yes Disruptive Climate something or other, is on the nose and failing to motivate the masses and is probably dying the natural death of a meme that has lived beyond its use-by date, we now have the, ta da The great Oxygen depletion scare. How could the boffins have missed it for so long? Run off on some wild goose CO2 chase?
Never mind, Wall St is currently working on a solution. In amongst all the whizbang financial engineers a solution is being crafted as we speak. It will inevitably involve large amounts of money ending up in their pockets via the Oxygen Trading Scheme along with all the usual derivatives. This will fix the problem. The first step will be of course that everyone on Earth will have to get breathing licences. No worries, Wall St will conduct the auction as well as the sale of Oxygen Credits which everyone will have to have. If Oxygen is a rare commodity it will have to be rationed through a market based approach, no?You can't have everyone going around willy nilly breathing as they wish.
Oh Wall St, you've saved us again.
