Hi,
I don't see the logic in a major announcement falling on or before senior mgmt taking up positions. In any other context good business process would be to transition the mew mgmt into their roles, let them assess the organisation from the positions of control. Only from that point can the sanction an announcement process that they are truely happy with.
I would have expected an new ann to be maybe two weeks after their start date.
I sure as h*ll would not want to take up a position with the first item of business being to take ownership of an ann I had not controlled.
