Not sure who wrote the view that you were looking at which gave you -99% but thats not how percentages or maths works. They can't just add a negative percentage to a positive performance percentage, ie the -82% (BIT) + 12.4% (ASX200) and come up with 99%, or 92% or anything remotely like that. Thats the sort of maths we expect in results spin.
BIT started the year at 9.7c. If it had gone up as per the ASX200 it would have been 10.9c now. So the difference between the ASX200 indexed price (10.9c) and the BIT actual price (1.7c) is -84.4%.
We can all agree its been a pathetic performance either way though.
