Actually Footy, I don't think I will find that. I said left leaning, not extreme left and having lived in each of those countries that is my experience.

Don't make the mistake of talking about "telling the truth". Pushing an agenda isn't about lying as such, its about filtering the information and opinions to favor one thing over the other. Highlighting people who offer opinions that align with the narrative that the media outlets wants people to believe and excluding, mocking or undermining those whose opinions don't suit them. A balance is only achieved by fairly representing all views, the left, the middle and the right. The pros and cons of each. Almost never happens.

Government appointed regulators are public servants. Don't be fooled into thinking that oversight is anything more than more public servants with opinions. How is the NDIS oversight whilst the tax payer is fleeced of billions to scammers each year? Hows the casino oversight been going whilst money laundering for decades? I can go on and on but oversight by public servants over other public servants is not oversight. It rarely works and often achieves the opposite and entrenches the bias and/or corruption.

When you really do sit in the middle you can see each media outlets biases clear as day. ABC is definitely left leaning. On the other hand fox / sky news is quite far right. Almost laughably on many occasions. I wouldn't accept an opinion from either personally as both show significant bias and an unhealthy dislike of balanced reporting and conversations.

Then you have 9 who spend every waking hour trying to keep you focused on property and anything that keep the property bubble going. Hardly surprising since they also have businesses which make money from selling mortgages and own Domain property. Hardly surprising that they are always talking up the chances of rate cuts and bullish on property. An obvious bias due to self interest.

That above said many on the left thing they are in the middle..
