I was curious and requested a price for a BlueGen from Harvey Norman. $55K + GST installed. Abit more than what I expected, but hey they are out pushing them & there will be people who $55K won't be a drama.

Disruption should be minimal as both power and hot water supply wont be changed until the unit is commissioned. Interestingly, to make the same amount of electricity, you would need 54 solar panels, which would require more roof space than most houses have. The cost is also comparable to a 12kWatt PV system.'
