Business, consumers & the markets have being losing confidence from about ten years ago... kept losing it ever since and lost it completely by last November. People saw their wages disintegrate, their working conditions becoming more and more dismal every day, the arrogance of big business burgeoning, their dream of buying a house fade away totally, their hospitals totally abandoned, their access to decent education torn apart, their publicly owned utilities sold or given away to the nearest political mate, their reputation as an honourable, ethical nation overseas carcassed, their city's infrastructure completely neglected, their sons and daughters engaged in an illegal war, their wishes to do something about the environment shredded, prisons built in god-forsaken places for refugees, dogs and military-trained thugs to stop union protest, refugee boats left to sink, people being blatantly lied to about all sorts of things, including imprisonment of innocent people, complete neglect of aussies overseas, total kow-towing to the USA... you know, Cougar, if I wasn't sickened so much by Howard's "legacy" I'd list it all down for you; to for a little reminder!
