Libs have not got the slightest hope of winning with Nelson as leader - just like ALP with Crean. Nelson may be a likeable, fun sort of bloke but he comes across as a total phoney. They need to change now to avoid further damage. For some reason that I don't understand, Costello just doesn't seem to have it in him - a good 2ic but that's as far as it goes. Lacks the burning ambition. Turnbull is probably their best bet at this stage - no lack of ambition there! In fact bucket loads of it.
