I would add that Karoon is net cash to the tune of $200m at the moment. So even with the upcoming CAPEX on Bauna and Patola, after paying the $78m contingency payment in Q123, & adding the 2022 CY cashflow, the company will be debt free and gushing 30,000 bbls/ day from Q422, at a production cost of close to $20/bbl.
@$95/ bbl, that’s US$67.5m/ month or US$810m pa = A$2.05/ share per annum.
It’s ridiculously cheap, so will not stay this way forever. If nothing else the company could buy back every share on the register at A$2/share within 12 months.
