I wouldn't get too excited just yet. The smart and insightful management actually increased the company's hedging to the end of June at under USD $55 per barrel (what were they thinking?arse covering), so any gains will be muted IMO.
IMO the execution and poor result of the company's current hedging strategy is sub par due to it's inaction during their prior hedging program when prices exceeded USD $100 per barrel. Big fail.
It shall be interesting to see how the company buy back continues to be executed now the bid price is 10.5 cents. There has been no action for a week now.
