I think we will hit the peak this year of a new all time high of around 150 to 160 USD in the US driving season of around August. After that and the inflation that will cause US fed will be forced to tighten more substantially and other monetary tightening policies will start to take effect after an initial lag. After that my prediction is for crude to settle in at around 80 to 100 for the foreseable future. It goes without saying crude at 100 dollars plus will be devastating for the dems in November so congress will be republican and consequently nothing will get done. That combined with fed tightening will bring the heat out of inflation by 2024/25 IMO.
