Rubbish.
What you are saying would only be true in a 50/50 pot-luch scenario...which I am happy to say, is not the case for a professional traders, who rightly so can expect to make money on the vast majority of their trades!
The orders will still go through...the problem is we have no control on when...and at which price!
I can count 5 opportunities missed this morning already in additiona to my locked out orders...I would have traded them (all sells) but for the obvious issues at the moment did not (can not)...and on 2 of them would have already bought back in at my lower target price.
Days of volatilty...like today's...are a traders paradise. To be locked out on such a day is a catastrophy...not only for what could have been, but also for the direct result of what is!
