I concur with your thoughts and commiserate with your oder situation - I am in similar postion this morning.
I came form a 15+ year IT background at IT before trading full time for almost a year now - and fully understand their IT infrastructure in this WWW, eBusiness on Demand world...
It is nothing short of ludicrous and I too would welcome an alternate. I know Peter Douni (MD @ Wb Iress) and he runs a sophisticated IT shop that feeds Etrade. I suggest it is Etrade at fault. their lack of spend and IT depth that makes their infrastructue unstable.
But hey... in atake over with a CEO 1 foot out the door...what can we expect..more ? Hardly ???
