Sutton has not actually said he is coming back. He is taking a “number of days off”. he may not be back. will he deal with his issues? at home? If he can’t fix his issues, will he return?
IMHO there should be compulsory drug and alcohol testing of all medical personnel in vIctorian hospitals and all Victorian Health Department employees should be sober when giving press conferences.
The idea that non-elective surgeries have been suspended in Victoria because the medical doctors MDs were too drunk and not sufficiently sober to conduct them is horrific.
Victorian health workers, doctors and nurses, should be drug and alcohol tested at the start and end of each shift" It is as bad as the hotel quarantine disaster.
