dleb I beg to differ on the point of "not responsible for decisions in the UK". The EU court is higher than all the UK courts, and for a simple explanation just on food, the EU said that Walls, a large company for food products in England, did not have enough meat by a small percentage, in their sausage's and they had to change it, tasted crap, no appeal to Westminster, as for fishing, you get so many days per month to fish, and a certain type of fish to catch.
Should you have in your net a fish not set down in the type you are allocated, dead or alive they get thrown back, no appeal if found with these on board, you run the risk of your vessel being impounded with its catch, plus a time in prison, which did happen to a Scottish captain and his son.
So, the EU has a strangle hold on the UK and has been working with certain UK MP's to keep them in the group as they need the money from the UK, as the French have trouble keeping up payments. That is why the yellow vest's complained about the extra tax on fuel, which was brought in under the guise it was needed for the climate change fund. So in closing, the EU runs things in the UK like you wouldn't believe, this is why the UK
needs to get back to how things use to be before they joined the common market, then the EU was brought about as being so wonderful.
