Thanks for all the insightful posts by everyone over the last couple of days, much appreciated.

I think we all agree that ARB is a special and rather unique ASX company. I personally spend little time on ARB, but instead most of my time searching for companies who may be developing a strong business model in favourable industries, with superior managers - like ARB.

I recall a conversation with a friend several year's ago, I was commenting how hard it was to find listed companies of commensurate quality to ARB in which to invest more funds. He plainly said "that if ARB is the best investment, then load up on them and forget all the inferior companies." We're all told to diversify, and I had been mindful not to plough too much into a single stock. But I had confidence and conviction in the company, and fortunately doubled up at $5.80. They are now clearly my no.1 holding, and I'm thankful for that friend's encouragement.

I agree Mars, there is no guarantee that ARB can replicate their domestic success in overseas markets. All we can do is place our faith in a management team who has always prioritised R and D, and methodically grown the design, production and distribution of products over decades. And we know that the global addressable market is large enough to grow the company to those levels that Adam has projected in the years' ahead.

ps. Travelightor : I agree also with your sentiments on the NCK thread, liked the comment that the only thing that hasn't increased over the years is the share count. Very true!
