Brexit on ARB, page-41

Don't get me wrong. I haven't cashed in my chips and left the table. I'm still well in the market. Just in the last 12 mths or so I have found it very difficult to buy into this new normal. Quite literally. And hence I'm holding more cash then 'normal'. First world problem I'm aware. The media also tried to sell us the $A new normal a little while back was parity with $US. A very wise person once pointed out to me the that the finance pages were always the same length each day. So the journalists had to come up with stories to fill them each day. The usual filler is a guess at what the interest rate will do next. I tend to believe that "the new normal stories" are like that. And by the way; house prices can't fall. All that said it leaves all to ponder where to invest for a descent return. I hold ARB but can't bring myself to buy more at the current level.
