Before the referendum:

"Vote LEAVE, and get an extra 350 million quid a week for the National Health Service!"

After:

"Oops, that was a mistake. Silly us!"

No wonder the LEAVE vote was so heavily skewed to the elderly. Pity that the young (who overwhelmingly voted to remain) will be the ones who actually have to deal with the consequences.

Same as it ever was, I suppose.
