The Brits vote next Thursday 23rd whether to leave the EU or not and the 'Leave' campaign is leading in the most recent polls (50%-45%). The markets have switched to a 'risk-off' sentiment for the next 10 days at least with further downside if the Poms leave the EU.
To be honest, I now hope that the Sojitz offtake is announced after this event next week and am glad that it looks like the finance will also arrive after this has settled (early July).
The scenario I hope for is that the Poms vote to remain in the EU and our good news is made in time to benefit from a relief rally across global markets.
