The question for me is, what are the earnings and dividends paid? At what stage are they stable at a low point.
I think the earnings will stabilise lower due to buying up businesses and the general economic malaise.

This will result in minimum half yearly dividends of $0.055, 11c annually and with Franking Credits will take up to 15.5c per annum.

To get a 10% return, $1.55 is the logical investment point.

A 15% return is $1.03. I don’t believe it will get any worse than this, however markets can change and the risk is that earnings will decrease, risking 5.5c half yearly dividends.

The upside for BRI is much bigger, I am just investing based on worst case scenario and enjoy the dividend stream while it lasts. Hoping for many happy returns and growth when the construction curve picks up later this year across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

The benefits of BRI business outlined by you @desertredlion add to a thesis that earnings will be stable in poor economic conditions.

    Best of Luck
