    Firstly I understood Mr Price did want to be Executive Chairman. It was not specified in the EGM papers but I believe that was his plan, If he won the vote with the majority of the shareholders behind him convincing the Board to make him Executive Chairman would not have been a step too far.

    I for one would support that as a means speeding up the transition of PPX.

    I has briefly a member of ASA and they do a lot right but I do consider they are perhaps too process driven. In this case I believe they got it wrong. They probably blocked Andrew Price becoming chairman and in the process destroyed shareholder value.
