De-Dollarisation is under way right now albeit a slow process.
Using your own currencies in dealings rather than using USD as an intermediary is a small step. Of greater significance is moving away from USD as a reserve currency. Central banks are shifting reserves to other currencies and increasing holdings of PMs.
In the short term though there is no real alternative to the dollar as being central to the financial system. But the BRICS are looking at the longer term. Let us see what happens?????
