They will have their own currency for part of their own trade deals where they have control, and may have some success persuading some other countries to partially use it, but it won't be able to go much past that. Will be a PR exercise mostly, and at a huge cost.
The USD is safe as the world trade currency as long as they don't weaponise it too much.
