How convenient to call BS to anything for the sake of arguing and coming up with a narrowed, watered down view of economics, exaggerating foreign ownership and discounting taxes, royalties, employment and the run-off benefits of international trade.

Soon you're gonna tell your grocer that the monetary system is BS and that you want to "pay" for bread using the bartering system. Good luck getting a share of those Saudi wells as a foreigner.

Anyway much of that supposed "lost GDP" wealth comes back symbiotically from those partner countries and others where you and other Australians invest.
