Thank you Dynom. I would just add that the combined share of world trade for the Brics is 18% Most is China . 90% of intra/brics trade is with China.
So , , to be generous , less than 4% intra of world trade is intra/bric , and not going thru the roof.
I wonder if all these people who seem to be creaming their jeans over the Brics currencies , would prefer a suitcase full of reals or roubles or dollars to keep in their wardrobe for 20 years.
What's the bet that Putin and his cronies only want the green stuff. cheers
