On re-reading my post of yesterday, I felt it came out a bit negative. I think that the Annandale development is absolutely stunning and offers the potential for a wonderful lifestyle. I hope the Partnership and shareholders receive a deserved profit. Perhaps I am too wary, as a result of events from the past. I did react to the vehement dismissals (in the general section of Hot Copper) of arguments put forward by anyone who suggested that there could be a property bubble bust in the future. I hope that no downturn occurs that could interfere with the ability of those who have bought into Bridgeview to finalise their contracts when titles are available. I also hope that construction timing is on schedule and predicted costs are achieved. In my opinion it is an imaginative, quality project,with apartments realistically priced.The project deserves to realise a profit for the partners. Never-the- less, I still believe that the extent of that profit will be determined by the nexus between construction timing and costs and market volatility (bank valuations at the time of completion).
