In the early 1980's there was one operating underground gold mine left in Australia, The Mt Charlotte mine in WA
By the end of that decade the gold industry in WA was thriving
Why?
because of a bunch of enegetic geologists, engineers , entrepreneurs who raised the capital, developed new interpretations, applied new processing techniques and transformed the Goldfields around Kalgoorlie into a thriving gold distict once more.
Thats my analogy with what is happening at MCO now.
