at least we understand the following news release better:
June 1, 2011 (Source: Arafura) -- Arafura wishes to advise that Mr Steven (Steve) Mackowski, General Manager Technology, has decided to retire from full time employment and relocate to Tasmania.
Steve will leave his full time employment with Arafura on 1st September 2011. He has agreed to provide ongoing consulting services to the company on a part-time basis.
Arafura?s Managing Director and CEO, Dr Steve Ward, commented; ?Steve Mackowski has been a long serving and dedicated member of Arafura?s team, we thank him for his contribution and wish him well in the next phase of his life. Given Steve?s extensive experience with Arafura?s world class Nolans Project, we are very pleased that he has agreed to continue to be involved with Arafura as we drive towards becoming a leading supplier of rare earths to users worldwide?.
Apparently Steve didn't agree with the planned changes in the processing line. From what I know about him he would have never left ARU without a serious reason.
