At the Second Fortune Gold Mine, Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) has a very large number of underground drilling activities for which gold assay results have been released. The figures disclosed are simply staggering.
Prominent results are:
- 1.16m @ 30.36g/t Au (SFUDD0136)
- 2.05m @ 13.85g/t Au (SFUDD0116)
- 0.42m @ 65.44g/t Au (SFUDD0112)
Everything is in order straight from the mine site and demonstrates multi lode deposition of wide degree high-grade, and strength narrow-vein gold mineralisation. These deposits provide advanced clues to widen the depth of the ore body's potential, which is still greatly open. In addition, these results also reveal further extensions of the mine life.
Ore haulage operations appear positive with the company's schedule for gold processing already set for October at Genesis Minerals Laverton mill. So far, the company has delivered positive results over and expects its first gold pour for 2025.
In addition, these results add mineral resource update expectations into the list for the first half of 2025 alongside other information regarding further drilling and planned mine modifications. Along with the ongoing exploration of Sandstone and final studies of the Menzies and Laverton regions, Brightstar continues to expand within the area.
