Mike, Im not sure UGL looked at buying DOW last month, maybe considered parts etc.
Legislation and Govt utilities would have stopped any takeover by UGL unless there was a carveup...cant have one Rail supplier for the whole of Aust nor one dominant electrical contractor so that would have meant DEDI Rail and DEDI Engineering would have gone.
