swimming on Sunday mornings at the local pool, Mum didn't take us, we went on our own, probably aged 9, 7 and 6
tape recorders
record players
milk delivered with cream on top
tramps would sometimes knock at the door and Mum would give them a meal and a cup of tea out the back
milkman always just came in the back door to collect his bill
