    Yeah, probably. I don't think Michael McCormack has got what it takes unfortunately and will have to go. Particularly when the Liberals leadership is questionable. A strong Liberal leader takes focus off the Nats normally.

    However, if they went back to Barnaby they would be repeating the mistakes of old. We're seeing a bit of a transition in Australian politics. The old conservative right wing is on the way out. They refuse to address modern issues and the electorate has given them plenty of chances to do so. Not only have they not sniffed the wind, this process has outed them somewhat demonstrating how selfish and self obsessed they are.

    Consequently, we are going to have to endure a Labor government that nobody really wants. Kind of a reverse of the Kevin Rudd situation really.

    Bridget McKenzie and others are modern National politicians. The Nationals will always be the Nationals but just as farming has moved into the 20 century, so should the Nats.

    If they don't they are dead.
