Broadly speaking, there is no such thing as a "good" pollie - they are ALL bad!! It is just the extent of "badness", IMO!!
There was though, one pollie who was thoroughly good - Mr Eric Eliott Reece (may he RIP) - Premier of Tasmania and did his very best for the best State in the country and even refused a Knighthood! He was around during our golden period when we had the likes of other good pollies such as Sir Henry Bolte, Sir Charles Court, etc!
