So - the David Hicks video was the Jones "suprise" - knew he'd have some shifty scheme line dup - and Howard handled that unblinkingly. (Hicks looking for publicity for his book no doubt - only way he'll get it!) But Howard breathed fire and put him right back in his traitorous little box.

If Hicks thinks he's a mistreated hero he's grossly mistaken. Only in his own mind. He knew what he was doing - and kept doing it after 9/11!

And, like Bush, Howard dodged the sneakers! Just after someone tweeted "Throw a shoe". Was that the signal??

The creepy culprit and his girlfriend cringed off - hopefully to have a much needed wash.

Yes, lots of pre-planned booby traps strategically planted in that audience. But try as he might, Jones did not shake Howard -and he came out of it superbly.

He exudes class, and doesn't feel the need to resort to disparaging nastiness. Qualities this current Labor lot are sadly lacking, as sneering and belittling are all they seem to know.
