You do realize that i wasn't asking for your personal experience in the mining industry.
The simple point was that NO corporation in Australia has ever paid the statutory rate of tax. So to refer to:
30% business tax on profits
12 % landowner tax on revenue
14% royalties on revenue
as a reason for non-profitable companies is simply wrong.
